Along with several other hotels, Hotel Xibalba is within the treed La Canada ecological area at number 9 Merle Green Street. We have a few howler monkeys in the trees, hopefully trained not to disrupt our electrical service while walking along the wires. In our lobby is a full-scale replica of the lid of the Tomb of Pacal, Palenque's most important Maya ruler (603 - 683 AD), plus several other Maya reproductions.
