Xibalba Hotel, in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, offers excellent lodging service suited to please our guests in a full way. Xibalba began operating in 1992, since then we’ve applied 2 renovation phases and upgrades in our facilities searching to improve the spaces and services for you, our guest. Featuring stoned Mayan sculptures as well as a scale model of the original Great Pakal King Tomb (from 603 to 683 A.C.), located in the central patio of the main building.

We feature 35 comfortable nice rooms, distributed in 2 split sections, with 30 meters in between both of them. The main area features 25 rooms distributed in 3 levels with different bedding type, equipped with all the indispensable services for you to rest in a pleasant way. Furthermore, we also offer advanced online booking system for you to book in a simple way, from your own home.

In addition to all our amenities, Xibalba offers the Don Carlos Restaurant, where you enjoy a delicious menu of Mexican specialties. We also feature 2 computers available for guests, free parking lot, laundry and dry cleaning service.

We are located on the Merle Green Street number 9, in Cañada District, one of the main eco-urban zones in Palenque city, surrounded by tree areas with monkeys at sight, cobblestone streets and several hotels and restaurants within the same zone.

While staying with us, you may discover popular archaeological zones such as Yaxchilan, Bonampak, Tikal (in Guatemala) or even Palenque itself; also At a short distance from Agua Azul waterfalls 62 kms away and Misol-Ha 17 kms away. 2 hours away from interesting tourist destinations such as San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas) and Villahermosa (Tabasco), with its classic De la Venta Park Museum (part of the Olmeca culture, which prime took place in the 1800 B.C.).

Accommodations

Thirty-five rooms with sleeping arrangements to suit your needs. We have king-sized, double and single beds in flexible numbers per room. Please tell us your requirements. All rooms have private bath, with 24 hour hot water, bed mat ,cable TV, shower mat and towels, desk-table, air-conditioning.
